Supervisors, Safety and Legal Liability

Ensuring that managers and supervisors have a sound understanding of their legal liability and responsibility in the workplace is essential for the effective management of OH&S.

Mentor Services offers a range of Nationally accredited courses in Risk Management.

The courses are designed to enable the participants to:

• Have a sound knowledge of the OH&S legal obligations of employers, managers, supervisors, employees and other parties
• Assist management in complying with legal “Duty of Care” requirements
• Develop action plans to manage risk in the workplace
• Determine the level of risk on-site in accordance with Workcover's rating scale
• Implement practical steps for controlling and monitoring risk
• Ensure that appropriate documentation regarding risk management is completed and maintained as evidence of due diligence.
